Sidekick Soccer Academy is excited to announce its 2017 Summer Vacation Clinic schedule.

“One of the joys of summer for many children is the opportunity to be able to spend time with their friends – while meeting new ones – as they develop athletic skills in a safe, nurturing environment,” said Zach Rocha, Sidekick’s executive director and co-founder. “As a leader in the soccer industry, we at Sidekick, feel humbled to be able to create this special setting for players, parents, and coaches to improve their quality of life through the prism of a fun, educational game.”

These clinics will focus on teaching a number of age-appropriate technical soccer skills. While the focus will be on skill development, this will be done in an enjoyable teaching environment using fun, small-sided games.

The Summer Clinic Series is suitable for both recreational and competitive players and all are encouraged to attend. All clinics are co-ed. We divide players by age, skill, and gender so that every child receives an enjoyable, suitable experience.

All members of the Sidekick coaching staff are certified and licensed through the sport’s top educational organizations; NSCAA, USSF, UEFA, USYF.

Staff includes High School Head Coaches, NCAA Head Coaches and Professional League Coaches.

WE BELIEVE that education is paramount. Teaching and learning go together like peanut butter and jelly. We feel that the true development of an individual and team is instilling lessons with long-term effects. We hope that most players will join us for both sessions and believe that those players will benefit the greatest.

Academy format: players will finish out each training session with a scrimmage after engaging in fun, skill development activities. The exact timing of training activities will depend on the age/skill level of the group but please expect a fast-paced session of soccer!

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY & UPDATES: If a training session day is cancelled, you will be given notice from Sidekick Soccer Academy directly. We will do our best to give at least 12-hour advance notice. If you do not receive a message, then the SESSION IS ON! Please check facebook.com/sidekicksocceracademyl for updates, too. Any make-ups will occur through a possible EXTRA hour of training. We will do our best to make up any sessions but can not guarantee it. If a session is cancelled and there is no make-up, there is no refund. (Curse Mother Nature - NOT US!)
